Responsibilities
- Assist in the authentication and valuation of luxury goods including watches, jewelry, handbags, and accessories.
- Conduct thorough inspections to assess condition, provenance, and market value.
- Prepare detailed valuation reports and documentation for clients.
- Stay updated on current luxury market trends, pricing, and brand developments.
- Provide excellent customer service by advising clients on product value and resale opportunities.
- Maintain an organized inventory of items and valuation records.
- Collaborate with senior valuers to refine appraisal techniques and knowledge.
- Support retail operations at the Novena Square boutique as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum diploma or degree in a relevant field (e.g., gemology, horology, luxury brand management) or equivalent experience.
- Strong interest in luxury goods with demonstrable knowledge of high-end brands and materials.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with inventory management software.
- Prior experience in retail, valuation, or luxury customer service is an advantage.
- Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
