Responsibilities
- Coordinate, supervise, and monitor all M&E site works to ensure compliance with architectural and engineering drawings.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain strict quality control and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage and supervise the progress of subcontractors to ensure work is completed according to the project schedule.
- Review M&E shop drawings and technical submissions for accuracy and feasibility before implementation.
- Identify potential site issues early and propose effective, cost-efficient technical solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive site progress reports for management, highlighting performance against budget and deadlines.
- Liaise with consultants, authorities, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or a related field).
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience in construction or property development projects.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations (DOSH/CIDB), and M&E installation standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse site teams.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet demanding site deadlines.
