Responsibilities
- Design and develop detailed M&E system drawings and specifications using CAD software
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure M&E designs align with overall project requirements
- Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed reports on existing M&E systems
- Prepare cost estimates and technical specifications for M&E projects
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders during project implementation
- Review and approve shop drawings and submittals from contractors and suppliers
- Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in M&E design and drafting
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems, codes, and regulations in Singapore
- Excellent technical drawing and documentation skills
- Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
