Responsibilities
- Design and coordinate mechanical and electrical systems for commercial and residential building projects
- Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation in compliance with local regulations
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of M&E systems on-site
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during construction phases
- Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory authorities
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources related to M&E works
- Ensure adherence to sustainability standards and energy efficiency requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of M&E engineering experience in building projects (5+ for senior roles)
- Proficiency in M&E design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Singapore's building codes and regulations (BCA requirements)
- Professional registration (PE, P.Eng) is highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
