Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end M&E installation, ensuring compliance with local building codes and design specifications.
- Lead and coordinate commissioning activities to ensure all systems perform according to functional requirements.
- Prepare and manage accurate quantity surveying reports, cost estimates, and project budget variations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, enforce safety standards, and resolve technical challenges on-site.
- Liaise effectively with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain project timelines and quality benchmarks.
- Review M&E drawings and documentation to identify potential clashes or discrepancies prior to implementation.
- Ensure all site activities strictly adhere to WSH (Workplace Safety and Health) regulations and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in M&E coordination, commissioning, or site supervision within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex M&E shop drawings and schematics.
- Strong knowledge of local authority requirements and Building Control Regulations in Singapore.
- Demonstrated experience in QS functions, including measurement, costing, and contract administration.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage site sub-contractors and technical teams.
- Proactive, independent, and capable of working in a fast-paced construction environment.
