We are seeking a dynamic and experienced M&E Manager / Senior M&E Engineer to lead the mechanical and electrical engineering aspects of prestigious building developments. As a key member of the project leadership team, you will oversee all M&E operations from conception through completion. Your responsibilities will include strategic planning, design coordination, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning. You will work closely with architects, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of M&E systems into the building structure. Your leadership will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the M&E team for large-scale building projects from concept to completion.
- Develop and oversee M&E design, ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, and standards.
- Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, and subcontractors for seamless project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules for M&E works.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement quality control measures.
- Review and approve M&E shop drawings, materials, and method statements.
- Ensure all M&E installations meet safety and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and train junior engineers to enhance team capability.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in M&E engineering within the construction industry.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale building projects (e.g., commercial, residential, mixed-use).
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Proficient in M&E software and project management tools.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Registered as a Resident Engineer (RE) or recognized by relevant authorities is an advantage.
