Responsibilities
- Translate technical documents, company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and legal contracts accurately from Mandarin to Indonesian and vice versa.
- Serve as a professional interpreter for management meetings, negotiations, and internal staff briefings.
- Provide on-site interpretation support at manufacturing facilities to ensure clear communication between supervisors and the workforce.
- Maintain confidentiality and precision in all written and oral translations to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Assist in drafting correspondence and reports in both Mandarin and Indonesian for cross-border communication.
- Adapt terminology to ensure documents are localized correctly while maintaining professional industry standards.
- Collaborate with different departments to resolve language-related barriers that may hinder daily operations.
Qualifications
- Proven proficiency in both written and spoken Mandarin (HSK Level 5 or higher preferred) and Indonesian.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a professional translator or interpreter, preferably in a manufacturing or corporate setting.
- Strong understanding of business, legal, and technical terminology in both languages.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cultural sensitivity skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and perform under pressure in an industrial environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and translation software tools.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and professionalism in handling sensitive documentation.
