We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our world-class team. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize semiconductor manufacturing processes to improve yield, quality, and efficiency.
- Analyze production data and manufacturing metrics to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
- Lead continuous improvement projects (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance production line performance and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with Process Integration, Product Engineering, and Equipment Engineering teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Design and execute experiments (DOE) to qualify new processes, materials, or equipment for production.
- Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
- Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing technicians and production operators to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Participate in the qualification and start-up of new equipment and technologies for the Bayan Lepas facility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment (semiconductor industry experience is highly preferred).
- Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC), design of experiments (DOE), and lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as JMP, Minitab, or Python/R for process monitoring and optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proven track record of implementing effective corrective actions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
- Experience with semiconductor backend or front-end processes (Assembly, Test, Wafer Fab) is a significant advantage.
- Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) is a plus.
