You will collaborate with peers in engineering and quality assurance to optimize manufacturing processes, ensure traceability, and meet stringent specifications. Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment for laser-related components and assemblies.
- Assemble, align, and test optical and mechanical parts to meet exact specifications.
- Perform in-process inspection using metrology tools and document results accurately.
- Calibrate equipment, troubleshoot production issues, and implement counters to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation following 5S and Lean manufacturing principles.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to support process improvements and root-cause analysis.
- Maintain accurate batch records, ensure traceability, and uphold quality standards across production lots.
Qualifications
- Diploma or technical certificate in manufacturing, mechanical/electro-mechanical engineering, or related field.
- Hands-on experience in electronics/electro-mechanical assembly or laser-related manufacturing preferred.
- Proficiency with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers) and basic test equipment; familiarity with CMM is a plus.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret specifications; strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safety, EHS guidelines, and basic problem-solving skills; capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and teamwork; proactive, reliable, and highly motivated.
