Diamond H Marine Svcs. & Shipping Agency Inc. is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Marine Electrician to join our expanding fleet. We specialize in Bulk Carrier and General Cargo operations within the Coaster Trade. As a critical member of our technical team, you will be responsible for maintaining the safe and efficient operation of all electrical systems and equipment on board our vessels.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all shipboard electrical systems, including generators, switchboards, and distribution panels.
- Monitor and service electrical motors, lighting systems, and navigation/communication equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules in accordance with the Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and classification society requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults, power failures, and instrumentation issues during voyage and in port.
- Supervise electrical repairs and oversee third-party electrical contractors when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical parts inventory, work orders, and technical reports.
- Adhere strictly to company safety protocols, MARPOL regulations, and electrical safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Certificate of Competency (COC) as an Electrical Engineer or Electrician relevant to maritime operations.
- Proven experience working on Bulk Carriers or General Cargo vessels.
- Solid understanding of maritime electrical engineering principles, high-voltage systems, and shipboard automation.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to perform tasks under minimal supervision.
- Strong command of the English language for technical reporting and documentation.
- Physically fit and medically cleared for sea service.
- Willingness to join a vessel on short notice and travel as required by operational needs.
