Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components for automated machinery using advanced CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor).
- Manage the full product R&D lifecycle, from conceptual design and detailed engineering to prototyping, testing, validation, and mass production launch.
- Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and comprehensive technical documentation.
- Collaborate closely with electrical, software, and manufacturing engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration and performance optimization.
- Conduct design reviews, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and root cause analysis to enhance product reliability and manufacturability.
- Select appropriate materials, actuators, sensors, and other mechanical components based on stringent project requirements and cost targets.
- Provide invaluable technical support and troubleshooting during the assembly, integration, and commissioning phases of projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related field from an accredited university.
- For Junior position: 0 to 2 years of relevant working experience (fresh graduates with internship experience are highly encouraged to apply).
- For Senior position: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in mechanical design, specifically within the automation, semiconductor, or precision engineering industries.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and 2D drafting (SolidWorks proficiency is highly preferred).
- Strong practical understanding of engineering mechanics, materials science, and standard manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding).
- Solid experience with Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) principles and Value Engineering.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, coupled with a high attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse, cross-functional team environment.
