Responsibilities
- Develop detailed mechanical design drawings and 3D models using CAD software for industrial automation systems.
- Collaborate with engineers to transform project requirements into accurate technical specifications and assembly drawings.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation.
- Conduct design reviews to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
- Support the fabrication and assembly teams by providing technical clarification and design modifications where necessary.
- Manage version control for drawings and engineering change orders to ensure project data integrity.
- Identify opportunities for design optimization to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 1-3 years of professional experience in mechanical design or drafting, preferably in industrial automation.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and technical drawing standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on precision.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary project team.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple project timelines simultaneously.
