Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day M&E installation activities on-site to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and approved methods.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to verify the workmanship and materials used by contractors.
- Identify potential design conflicts or site issues early and provide practical engineering solutions to maintain project schedules.
- Ensure all site activities strictly adhere to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) regulations and standard operating procedures.
- Review and verify the accuracy of contractor's progress claims and material submittals.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to facilitate smooth project communication and troubleshooting.
- Prepare comprehensive daily and weekly site progress reports for management review.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in site supervision, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Strong understanding of M&E building services, including HVAC, fire protection, electrical systems, and plumbing.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings, schematics, and project specifications.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage on-site stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Knowledge of Malaysian building codes, standards (MS), and safety regulations is essential.
