Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules for all mechanical systems, including HVAC, pumps, and fire protection equipment.
- Perform regular facility inspections to identify potential mechanical failures before they impact mall operations.
- Coordinate with contractors and service providers to ensure repairs are completed on time and to company standards.
- Analyze mechanical system performance data to optimize energy consumption and reduce operational costs.
- Respond promptly to emergency mechanical breakdowns, providing swift and effective troubleshooting solutions.
- Ensure full compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Manage maintenance documentation, including logbooks, service reports, and inventory of spare parts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Must be a Licensed Mechanical Engineer (PRC License holder).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in facility management, property engineering, or a similar industrial role.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical blueprints, schematics, and system layouts.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
- Experience in managing vendor relationships and outsourced technical service teams.
- Knowledge of OSH (Occupational Safety and Health) standards and fire safety protocols.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work shifts as required by retail operations.
