Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end execution of ACMV and M&E projects to ensure timely completion within budget.
- Perform detailed heat load calculations, equipment selection, and ductwork/piping design for various building types.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and bill of quantities (BOQ) using AutoCAD or BIM software.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and coordinate site activities.
- Ensure all mechanical installations comply with Singapore standards (SS 553, SS 591) and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to maintain high standards of installation and maintenance works.
- Supervise testing and commissioning (T&C) activities for ACMV systems and provide technical troubleshooting support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in the ACMV or M&E industry within the Singapore market.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit or BIM software is a significant advantage.
- Deep understanding of Singapore's building codes, fire safety regulations, and mechanical engineering standards.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple site projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to technical detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
