Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage technical submissions, shop drawings, and material approvals with consultants and vendors.
  • Review engineering designs to ensure compliance with project specifications, local building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and verify that mechanical installations align with approved technical documents.
  • Manage Request for Information (RFI) processes to ensure timely resolution of on-site technical challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and civil engineers, to ensure site coordination and clash detection.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or BIM (Revit) for technical drafting and review.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore building codes, BCA requirements, and mechanical system standards.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for managing external subcontractors and consultants.
