Job Description

Sri Nona Food Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mechanical Engineer (Facility & Utility) to join our team in Rawang, Selangor. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering team that provides comprehensive services and maintenance for production equipment, utilities, facilities, buildings, and Safety Health and Environment (SHE) initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the engineering team to ensure effective services and maintenance of production equipment, utilities, and facilities
  • Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and equipment to maximize uptime and production efficiency
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for all mechanical assets
  • Ensure compliance with Safety Health and Environment (SHE) regulations and company safety standards
  • Coordinate and supervise building maintenance, repairs, and renovation projects
  • Analyze equipment performance data and recommend improvements to reduce downtime and operational costs
  • Manage utility systems including HVAC, compressed air, water treatment, and electrical distribution
  • Prepare engineering reports, budgets, and technical documentation as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or food industry environment
  • Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams
  • Strong knowledge of production equipment, utilities, and facility maintenance
  • Familiarity with Safety Health and Environment (SHE) regulations and standards
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
