As our Mechanical Engineer assigned to the night shift (9:00 PM – 6:00 AM), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and reliability of the mall's mechanical infrastructure. You will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of HVAC systems, plumbing networks, fire protection equipment, and other essential building services. Your expertise will directly contribute to the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of thousands of daily visitors and tenants.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) at the Shangri-La Plaza Mall site.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend effective repair solutions to minimize operational downtime.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and facility teams to coordinate work schedules during the designated night shift (9:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Prepare detailed technical reports, maintenance logs, and documentation for all mechanical activities.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and materials required for mechanical operations.
- Ensure optimal energy efficiency and operational reliability of all mechanical equipment.
- Supervise technicians and external vendors to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Licensed Mechanical Engineer (RME) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in building maintenance, construction, or facility management.
- Proven experience with HVAC systems, plumbing, and fire protection systems in a commercial setting.
- Willingness to work night shifts (9:00 PM – 6:00 AM) and report on-site at Shangri-La Plaza Mall, Mandaluyong.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership abilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Philippine building codes and safety regulations.
