Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our manufacturing facility in Meru, Selangor. This role is ideal for an engineering professional looking to leverage their technical expertise within a dynamic plastic injection molding environment.
As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficiency of our molding processes, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring that our product quality meets the highest industry standards. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing operational workflows and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to drive production excellence.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and optimize plastic injection molding machine performance to ensure maximum output and quality.
- Conduct routine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on molding equipment and auxiliary systems.
- Collaborate with the production team to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Oversee tooling maintenance and coordinate with mold repair teams to minimize machine downtime.
- Ensure all production activities comply with safety regulations and quality management standards.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and production reports.
- Assist in the trial and commissioning of new molds and machinery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience, preferably within a plastic injection molding environment.
- Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, materials, and machinery.
- Proficiency in mechanical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills in English and Malay.
