Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers to deliver high-quality product designs
- Oversee end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to production
- Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, quality) to meet project milestones
- Implement engineering best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
- Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively
- Drive innovation in mechanical design and materials selection
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of mechanical engineering experience with 3+ years in leadership
- Expertise in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and DFM principles
- Proven track record in project management and budget oversight
- Experience in cross-functional team collaboration and vendor management
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficient in English with strong communication and presentation skills
