As a Midwife III, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive midwifery services, including prenatal care, labor and delivery support, and postnatal care for mothers and newborns. You will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
This role requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for supporting women and families throughout their pregnancy journey. You will be expected to maintain accurate medical records, provide health education, and participate in community health programs.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive prenatal care including examinations, health assessments, and counseling
- Assist in normal labor and delivery, monitoring maternal and fetal well-being
- Provide postnatal care for mothers and newborns, including breastfeeding support
- Conduct health education sessions on maternal and child health for patients and families
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care
- Participate in community health outreach programs and initiatives
- Ensure compliance with healthcare protocols and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Midwifery or related healthcare field
- Valid midwifery license and registration with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in midwifery practice
- Strong clinical skills in prenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and protocols
- Commitment to continuous professional development
