Job Description
Join VisionPower Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Pte Ltd as a Module Associate Engineer (Equipment) and contribute to sustaining world-class production in our East Region facility. You will own tool performance, availability, and maintenance of critical semiconductor equipment, diagnosing failures, initiating rapid solutions, and ensuring uptime targets are met.
As a hands-on engineer, you will collaborate with equipment owners, maintenance teams and process engineers to optimize tool reliability and throughput, implement preventive maintenance plans, and participate in root cause analyses of downtime events. This role provides growth into advanced automation, yield improvement projects, and exposure to cutting-edge wafer fabrication equipment.
- Monitor tool health metrics, alarms, and downtime events; conduct routine PMs and calibration to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Diagnose equipment faults, coordinate maintenance with in-house technicians and vendor support, and document corrective actions.
- Lead or participate in root cause analysis and countermeasure implementation to improve tool availability and process stability.
- Collaborate with process engineers to ensure compatibility between tools, processes, and yields.
- Assist in tool qualification, installation, and ramp activities for new equipment or upgrades.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, spare parts inventory, and S.O.P. documentation for compliance and knowledge sharing.
- Escalate critical issues timely and communicate status to manufacturing and quality teams.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or a related engineering field.
- Experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance or a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices, safety standards, and documentation.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities, with the ability to work across cross-functional groups.
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to equipment downtime as needed.
