In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing die casting molds to ensure optimal quality, efficiency, and smooth production operations.

Responsibilities
- Perform regular preventive maintenance and inspection of die casting molds to ensure optimal performance and longevity
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mold-related issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective repair solutions
- Coordinate with production supervisors to schedule maintenance activities and minimize operational disruptions
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts usage
- Ensure all molds meet quality standards and dimensional specifications before returning to production
- Assist in installation and setup of molds for new production runs
- Recommend improvements to maintenance procedures and suggest mold design modifications for enhanced durability
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Qualifications
- Technical or vocational degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool and Die Making, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in mold maintenance, repair, or die casting operations
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and understanding mold components and functionality
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques
- Experience with various mold materials and surface treatments
- Physical fitness with ability to lift heavy molds and work in manufacturing environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance calls
