Responsibilities
- Lead endâtoâend new product introduction (NPI) processes for sustainable packaging projects.
- Coordinate with R&D, design, procurement, and manufacturing teams to define product specifications and timelines.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost analyses for new materials and designs.
- Oversee prototype development, testing, and validation to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including BOMs, work instructions, and process flowcharts.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce lead times, waste, and production costs.
- Provide technical support during pilot runs and fullâscale production launches.
- Monitor postâlaunch performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Packaging Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 3â5 years of experience in NPI, product development, or process engineering within a manufacturing setting.
- Proven track record of launching sustainable or ecoâfriendly products.
- Strong proficiency with CAD/SolidWorks or similar 3D modeling software.
- Excellent project management skills; familiar with Agile or StageâGate methodologies.
- Knowledge of packaging materials, printing processes, and environmental regulations.
- Effective communicator with ability to lead crossâfunctional teams.
- Analytical mindset with strong problemâsolving and dataâdriven decisionâmaking capabilities.
