Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the New Product Introduction (NPI) team, overseeing all aspects of product launches from design review to ramp-up.
- Establish and implement scalable NPI processes, standards, and best practices to support rapid business growth.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and quality teams to ensure product readiness and manufacturing feasibility.
- Coordinate with supply chain and procurement to secure materials and capacity for new product builds.
- Drive cross-functional communication, ensuring alignment on timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the NPI lifecycle, proactively resolving issues to launch on schedule.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure NPI efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related technical field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- At least 8 years of experience in new product introduction, manufacturing engineering, or operations leadership, preferably in consumer goods or furniture.
- Proven track record of managing complex product launches from concept to mass production.
- Strong leadership skills with experience building and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent project management abilities, with proficiency in tools like Jira, Asana, or MS Project.
- Deep understanding of supply chain, quality systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making mindset.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, fluent in English.
