Responsibilities
- Develop and execute operational strategies to optimize manufacturing productivity and service efficiency.
- Oversee daily facility operations, ensuring strict adherence to safety standards and company policies.
- Manage budgets, resource allocation, and inventory control to reduce waste and maximize profitability.
- Lead, mentor, and coach diverse teams to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational goals.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify new market opportunities and operational scaling requirements.
- Monitor and analyze operational data to prepare reports for stakeholders, identifying areas for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations and industry standards relevant to the hospitality and manufacturing sectors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an operational leadership or management role, preferably in manufacturing or hospitality.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective operational processes and cost-reduction strategies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate high-performing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and operational management software (ERP/CRM systems).
- Strong communication skills in both English and Malay; fluency in local dialects is an added advantage.
