Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and design creative, functional, and brand-consistent packaging solutions for a wide array of products.
- Develop detailed dielines, 3D mockups, and physical prototypes to visualize and test packaging concepts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, marketing, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet technical specifications, brand guidelines, and production requirements.
- Prepare accurate and print-ready artwork files, ensuring proper formatting, color consistency, and file integrity for various printing methods.
- Research and stay updated on the latest packaging trends, materials, and sustainable design practices to foster continuous innovation.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and adhering to strict deadlines.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate packaging materials based on product protection, cost-effectiveness, and environmental considerations.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, effectively incorporating feedback into design iterations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Packaging Design, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in packaging design, preferably within the retail or consumer electronics industry.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and familiarity with 3D rendering software (e.g., KeyShot, Cinema 4D).
- A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of successful packaging designs and a clear understanding of the design process.
- In-depth knowledge of various printing processes, packaging materials, and manufacturing techniques.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- A keen eye for aesthetics, typography, color, and layout, coupled with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
