We are currently seeking a meticulous and reliable individual to maintain the pristine condition of the historic St Andrew Cathedral. As part of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the cathedral remains a welcoming and clean space for congregants and visitors alike. You will be provided with a professional uniform to ensure a consistent appearance. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of the cathedral grounds, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting of pews and surfaces.
- Sanitize high-touch areas, including entrances, walkways, and common areas.
- Maintain cleanliness in designated restroom facilities and ensure supply replenishment.
- Dispose of waste and recycling according to facility guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the site supervisor immediately.
- Ensure all cleaning tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored after each shift.
- Follow all health and safety protocols provided by the site management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be able to commit to the shift timing: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning checklists.
- Reliable, punctual, and disciplined with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to adhere to the uniform policy: black long pants or plain dark jeans, and covered shoes with socks.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Singapore.
