Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English and Math lessons to small groups of primary or secondary school students
- Assess student learning needs and adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and guardians
- Create a positive, encouraging classroom environment that promotes active learning
- Prepare teaching materials, worksheets, and assessment resources aligned with Singapore curriculum
- Collaborate with fellow tutors to share best practices and teaching strategies
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required
- Maintain accurate attendance records and class documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum GCE 'A' Level certification or equivalent; Diploma or Degree in Education preferred
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience with primary or secondary school students is advantageous
- Strong proficiency in English (written and spoken) and Mathematics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about education
- Ability to manage small groups and maintain classroom discipline
- Available to teach at least 2-3 sessions per week, including weekends
