Are you a talented digital illustrator with a passion for pets? We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Junior Pet Portrait Artist to join our team on a part-time, hybrid basis. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming client-provided pet photos into high-quality digital portraits.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an emerging artist to refine their digital painting skills while contributing to meaningful, personalized artwork that brings joy to pet owners. You will work closely with our creative lead to ensure consistent style and quality across all illustrations. Responsibilities
- Create high-quality digital pet portraits based on client specifications and source photos.
- Apply consistent artistic styles to match the brand’s aesthetic guidelines.
- Collaborate with the creative team to iterate on designs based on client feedback.
- Ensure all digital files are prepared correctly for printing and digital output.
- Maintain timely communication regarding project status and deadlines.
- Participate in periodic feedback sessions to continuously improve technical illustration skills.
- Archive and organize completed digital assets efficiently.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or hold a degree/diploma in Fine Arts, Illustration, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in digital illustration and character design.
- High level of comfort using digital drawing tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Procreate, or Clip Studio Paint.
- Ability to interpret artistic direction and translate it into polished final works.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for anatomy and textures.
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to balance part-time hours effectively.
- Positive attitude and a genuine love for pets, which reflects in your artistic output.
