Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and interactive lectures and seminars for undergraduate and/or postgraduate business modules.
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and assessment criteria to reflect current business practices.
- Facilitate student learning through innovative teaching methods, case studies, and real-world project applications.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback on student assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Mentor and advise students on academic progress and career development within the business sector.
- Coordinate with module convenors and faculty leads to ensure alignment with department learning objectives.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the business curriculum.
Qualifications
- A Master’s or PhD degree in Business, Finance, Management, Marketing, or a related field from a reputable university.
- At least 5-7 years of significant professional experience in a relevant industry or prior teaching experience at a tertiary institution.
- Proven ability to bridge theoretical concepts with practical industry applications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage a diverse student body.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a faculty team.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Learning Management Systems (e.g., Blackboard, Canvas) and digital teaching tools.
- Evidence of strong research or professional contribution to the field is highly desirable.
