Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom or work environment conducive to learning and growth.
- Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of achievement.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student development and well-being.
- Participate actively in co-curricular activities, school events, and professional development programs.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and review of curriculum and school policies.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students, adhering to school safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold the values and ethos of ICONS International School.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field; a Master's Degree or teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, MQA recognized) is highly desirable for educators.
- Proven experience in an educational setting, preferably within an international school environment.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and engage students, with strong classroom management skills for teaching roles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with additional language skills being an advantage.
