Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using critical path method (CPM) for MRT and building construction projects
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays through regular analysis of milestone achievements
- Prepare comprehensive progress reports for stakeholders, highlighting variances from baseline schedules
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to align planning activities with project requirements
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for scheduling challenges
- Optimize resource allocation and sequencing to maximize efficiency and minimize costs
- Ensure compliance with Singapore's building codes and construction industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction planning, preferably with MRT or large-scale building projects
- Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex project data
- Knowledge of Singapore's construction regulations and industry practices
- Certification in project management (PMP or equivalent) is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting
