Camos Automation Sdn Bhd is a Malaysia-based industrial automation company specializing in advanced automation solutions. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated PLC & Motion Control Engineer to join our dynamic team in Penang.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation control systems for industrial applications. You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure optimal performance of automated machinery and production lines.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and program PLC control systems for industrial automation applications
- Implement and optimize motion control systems including servo drives, stepper motors, and linear actuators
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and debug automated equipment and control systems
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to integrate control systems
- Develop technical documentation including wiring diagrams, P&ID, and system specifications
- Conduct testing and validation of control programs and system performance
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members
- Stay updated with latest automation technologies and industry trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
- Knowledge of PLC programming languages (Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block)
- Experience with major PLC brands such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley, or Omron
- Understanding of motion control principles and servo system configuration
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Profinet, EtherNet/IP, Modbus)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
