Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the fresh produce section including stocking, rotation, and quality control
- Provide exceptional customer service through product recommendations and purchase assistance
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and hygiene protocols
- Process transactions accurately and maintain cash register operations
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store objectives
- Implement visual merchandising techniques to enhance product presentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 1 year experience in retail sales or customer service preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of fresh produce handling and storage
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20kg
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
