As a vital member of our operations team, you will assume complete ownership of key assembly processes, with a primary focus on Wire Bonding technology and other interconnect methods. Your core objective will be to systematically improve manufacturing yields, elevate product quality, and maximize operational throughput. You will leverage your strong analytical skills to solve complex process problems using structured root cause analysis, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Design of Experiments (DOE). You will play a crucial role in qualifying new equipment, materials, and processes for high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and qualify wire bonding processes to meet stringent quality and yield targets.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related issues using structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, DMAIC).
- Monitor critical process parameters (CPK/PPK) and drive statistical process control (SPC) initiatives to ensure process stability.
- Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including FMEA, Control Plans, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Quality, Equipment) to introduce new products and processes into high-volume manufacturing.
- Drive yield improvement projects by analyzing data, conducting experiments (DOE), and implementing process changes.
- Perform risk assessments and ensure all processes comply with safety and environmental regulations.
- Provide technical training and mentorship to manufacturing technicians and operators on best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or related field).
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in process engineering, ideally within the semiconductor or electronics manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of wire bonding processes (e.g., Ball Bumping, Wedge Bonding) is highly preferred.
- Proven experience with statistical analysis tools and methodologies (JMP, Minitab, SPC, DOE, FMEA).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt certification is a plus).
