Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and sustain advanced semiconductor manufacturing processes across various modules including Diffusion, Etch, Lithography, PVD, CVD, CMP, WET, and Metrology.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis using statistical methodologies (e.g., SPC, JMP, Minitab) to monitor process performance, identify excursions, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead root cause analysis for process deviations, yield issues, and equipment failures, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Design, execute, and analyze experiments (DOE) to characterize process windows, qualify new materials, and integrate new equipment.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including R&D, Equipment Engineering, Production, and Quality to achieve manufacturing targets and improve overall fab performance.
  • Establish and maintain detailed process specifications, work instructions, and documentation to ensure process stability and repeatability.
  • Drive initiatives for process cost reduction, cycle time improvement, and enhanced product quality.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards (e.g., ISO), and environmental regulations within the manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in semiconductor process engineering, with demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following areas: Diffusion, Etch, Lithography, PVD, CVD, CMP, WET, or Metrology.
  • Strong fundamental understanding of semiconductor device physics and wafer fabrication processes.
  • Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) techniques and design of experiments (DOE).
  • Proven ability to apply systematic problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys) to complex manufacturing challenges.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with advanced data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R) and manufacturing execution systems (MES) is a plus.
