Responsibilities
- Lead the industrialization and scaling of wet etch and wet cleaning processes for semiconductor manufacturing.
- Execute the qualification of new raw materials, chemicals, and advanced hardware tools to enhance process capability.
- Analyze process data using Statistical Process Control (SPC) to monitor stability and identify trends.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on process deviations and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with the equipment engineering team to optimize tool performance and minimize downtime.
- Drive continuous improvement projects (CIP) focused on yield enhancement, cycle time reduction, and cost optimization.
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation to ensure compliance and safety.
- Support cross-functional teams during technology transfers and new product introductions (NPI).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a semiconductor wafer fabrication environment, specifically within Wet Etch or Cleaning modules.
- In-depth knowledge of wet chemistry, surface preparation, and contamination control.
- Proficiency in Design of Experiments (DOE) and data analysis software (e.g., JMP or Minitab).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and adhere to strict safety protocols.
- Familiarity with automated wet bench systems and single-wafer cleaning tools.
