As a Process Technician, you will be the eyes and ears on the plant floor. You will be responsible for executing complex manufacturing operations, monitoring process parameters, and conducting routine maintenance activities to ensure seamless plant performance. Responsibilities
- Monitor and control plant production processes, ensuring all parameters remain within established operating limits.
- Perform routine field checks and equipment inspections to proactively identify potential operational risks.
- Execute start-up, shutdown, and emergency procedures in strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain accurate shift logs and production data reports to ensure transparency and process traceability.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and resolve technical bottlenecks.
- Ensure that all activities are carried out in full compliance with EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) regulations and company policies.
- Participate in regular safety drills and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in chemical, petrochemical, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
- Solid understanding of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and PLC interfaces.
- Demonstrated ability to work safely in a high-pressure, hazardous industrial environment.
- Proficiency in reading Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
