Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative electrical products from concept to production, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and troubleshooting of prototypes and existing products to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance to drive product improvements.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and design reports.
- Evaluate customer requirements and translate them into technical product solutions.
- Manage product lifecycle activities, including component sourcing, cost analysis, and supplier coordination.
- Support production scale-up and provide technical guidance during manufacturing handover.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in product engineering or electrical product design.
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuit design, PCB layout, and product testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and environmental chambers.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., IEC, UL, CE) and quality management systems (ISO 9001).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Altium) and project management tools is an advantage.
