Role Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating product designs, conducting material compatibility assessments, and optimizing manufacturing processes. Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed technical analysis of product designs to ensure mechanical integrity and chemical compatibility.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to select materials that withstand specific chemical environments and stresses.
- Develop and execute rigorous testing protocols for product validation and quality assurance.
- Provide technical support to the manufacturing team to optimize production processes and reduce material waste.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including CAD drawings and material safety data sheets.
- Analyze product failures or performance issues using root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor industry trends in both chemical and mechanical engineering to propose innovative product enhancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience or a strong academic focus on the intersection of chemical properties and mechanical design.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills with the ability to solve complex technical challenges.
- High level of attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong collaborative spirit with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional team environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
