BHD. is looking for a Product & Machine Engineer / Senior Engineer to join our facility in Ulu Tiram, Johor. This is a critical role focused on driving manufacturing excellence through technical innovation, automation, and process optimization.
As part of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our production machinery is operating at peak efficiency while maintaining the highest quality standards for our products. You will work at the intersection of product development and mass production, solving complex technical challenges and implementing automation solutions that reduce downtime and increase throughput. Responsibilities
- Lead the optimization of manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and product yield.
- Oversee the installation, calibration, and maintenance of production machinery and automation systems.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues to minimize production downtime.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to facilitate New Product Introduction (NPI) and ensure seamless transitions to mass production.
- Develop and implement predictive maintenance schedules for all critical factory equipment.
- Design and integrate automated solutions to replace manual processes where applicable.
- Analyze production data and KPIs to identify areas for technical improvement and cost reduction.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience for Engineer level; 5+ years for Senior Engineer level.
- Strong proficiency in Industrial Automation and PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Omron).
- Hands-on experience with CAD software (AutoCAD or SolidWorks) for machine design and layouts.
- Proven track record in manufacturing process improvement and machine troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead technical discussions across departments.
- Willingness to work in Ulu Tiram, Johor.
