Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily production activities to ensure timely and cost-effective manufacturing of Oil & Gas equipment.
- Develop, implement, and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operations.
- Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to ensure all products meet stringent industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, API).
- Manage production schedules, resource allocation, and inventory levels to meet delivery targets.
- Prepare technical reports, process documentation, and performance metrics for management review.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S) to drive operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the Oil & Gas or heavy equipment sector.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Proactive, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work in the West Region (Jurong / Tuas).
