Are you a hands-on manufacturing professional with a passion for operational excellence? Akasha Wira International is looking for a dynamic Production Supervisor to join our team at the Plant Benda facility in Sukabumi. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring that our high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency are consistently met.
As a Production Supervisor, you will lead a dedicated team on the production floor, troubleshoot mechanical or process bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. We are seeking a leader who is not only technically proficient in industrial processes but also possesses the interpersonal skills to manage shifts effectively, mentor staff, and drive performance metrics in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily production floor operations to meet output targets and KPIs.
- Ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations.
- Monitor and optimize resource allocation, including manpower, machinery, and raw materials.
- Analyze production performance data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Manage shift schedules and conduct regular performance briefings for production operators.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Maintenance departments to minimize downtime and ensure product consistency.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and productivity enhancement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Maximum age of 35 years old.
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience as a Production Supervisor or Team Leader in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and technical machinery operation.
- Proficiency in analyzing production reports and implementing Kaizen or 5S methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills in both Indonesian and English.
- Willingness to work in Plant Benda, Sukabumi and handle shift work if required.
