Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to cafe standards.
- Greet customers warmly and provide professional, friendly, and efficient service.
- Maintain a pristine workstation, ensuring cleanliness and organization of the bar and service areas.
- Manage customer transactions accurately using the POS system and handle cash responsibly.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other cafe supplies, notifying management of shortages.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation protocols.
- Engage with customers to understand their preferences and provide personalized drink recommendations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a high-volume coffee shop environment is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, espresso machine operation, and milk texturing.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric attitude.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory tracking.
- High school diploma or equivalent certification.
- A proactive, team-player mindset with the ability to handle high-pressure situations with a smile.
