Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based beverages, filter coffees, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain excellence in coffee extraction, milk texturing, and latte art presentation.
- Provide friendly, personalized customer service to ensure a welcoming cafe atmosphere.
- Manage opening and closing duties, including cafe cleanup and equipment maintenance.
- Monitor inventory levels of beans, milk, and cafe consumables to ensure consistent supply.
- Adhere to strict hygiene and safety standards across all workstations.
- Assist in menu development and seasonal drink offerings to keep our coffee program fresh and innovative.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Barista in a busy cafe or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of coffee theory, including grind settings, extraction time, and brewing techniques.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English and Indonesian.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for hospitality.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shift patterns.
- Knowledge of specialty coffee equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
