Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging piano lessons for children in individual or small group settings.
- Implement the Joy Education curriculum to ensure students achieve foundational mastery in a fun and simple way.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to parents and guardians.
- Prepare students for recitals, internal assessments, and performance showcases.
- Foster a positive and encouraging classroom environment that inspires a love for music.
- Manage class schedules effectively and ensure timely communication with administrative staff.
- Participate in periodic training sessions to refine teaching methodologies.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Music (ABRSM Grade 8 or equivalent, or relevant music conservatory background).
- Prior experience in teaching young children is highly preferred.
- Patient, energetic, and passionate about child development and musical education.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with children and parents.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours (including weekends where necessary).
- Excellent command of English to facilitate clear communication with students and parents.
- Ability to commit to a long-term teaching engagement within our North-East locations.
