Responsibilities
- Lead and manage architectural projects from schematic design through construction administration, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Develop detailed design drawings, specifications, and material selections using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other engineering consultants to integrate systems seamlessly.
- Prepare and present design proposals to clients, addressing feedback and refining solutions to meet project goals.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resources, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
- Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, and site progress to ensure compliance with design intent and local building codes.
- Mentor and guide junior architects and interns, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve on‑site design issues during construction phases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 4–6 years of progressive experience in architectural practice, with project leadership exposure.
- Professional registration or active pursuit of licensing (e.g., LAM / PAM) is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite; knowledge of BIM‑related workflows is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Malaysian building regulations, UBBL, and local planning requirements.
- Excellent project management, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.
