PT PUSPETINDO is a leading player in the industrial manufacturing and engineering sector, committed to delivering excellence through precision and efficiency. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Project Control Engineer to join our team in Gresik, Jawa Timur. As a key member of our project management office, you will be responsible for ensuring that our engineering and construction projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the project lifecycle, from planning and scheduling to monitoring performance and reporting progress to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, proficiency in project management software, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams to drive project success.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules using industry-standard planning tools.
- Track project progress against the baseline schedule and prepare comprehensive status reports.
- Analyze project performance data to identify risks, bottlenecks, and variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and site teams to ensure resource availability and timely material delivery.
- Manage project cost control, budget forecasting, and invoice verification.
- Facilitate project coordination meetings and maintain accurate documentation of all project milestones.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety protocols, and client requirements throughout the project duration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent technical field).
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in project control, planning, or scheduling within the manufacturing or construction industry.
- Proficient in MS Project, Primavera P6, or other relevant project management software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Solid understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and cost control processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interface with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a contract-based environment and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Gresik, Jawa Timur.
