Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in the daily oversight and management of construction activities to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor detailed work schedules and project timelines to maintain optimal progress.
  • Coordinate closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and site supervisors to streamline workflows and resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all work is performed in accordance with technical specifications and safety regulations.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive progress reports, identifying potential delays and proposing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Manage and maintain accurate project documentation, including technical drawings, site records, and material delivery logs.
  • Ensure compliance with all local authority requirements, including BCA and WSH standards.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in project engineering within the Singapore construction sector.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and other essential engineering software.
  • Solid understanding of Singapore building codes, workplace safety and health regulations, and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse on-site teams.
